When I said I needed time to think about starting treatment and signing a long-term contract, I endured 10 minutes of “used car salesman” pressure to start treatment that very minute. Do other orthodontic offices put such pressure on patients to begin treatment?

For my office, the answer is a definite no. My staff is trained to help patients make decisions they are comfortable with. The decision to begin orthodontic treatment should never be pressured.
